100 - But Howe?

If you want to write a parody

Donate profits to charity

And thus avoid the savagery

Of any litigation perfidy

Don’t forget to keep it fun

The original is still number one

And you’ve only just begun

To write many a pun

Having set out your stall

Then you give your all

Start writing a sequel

Hold people in your thrall

Add more to the series

Play into the fan theories

Don’t be getting wearies

Respond to written queries

With grim determination

Build up your reputation

Maintain the presentation

Or your fine publication

And then one day you’ll find

People won’t really mind

That you have redefined

The thing you all enshrined
