070 - Entropy

On one thing we can all agree

It’s a thing that makes us frown

What’s the deal with entropy?

It really gets me down

This thermodynamic principle

Is inescapable

In the end it renders everything

Utterly incapable

The universe is dying

Of that we can be sure

I only wish they’d told us

In the sales brochure

But I think we’ve got some time left

Maybe a few trillion years

Maybe we can get stuff done

Before everything disappears
