069 - Worms

Worms are very tricky

They tend to wriggle round

They can be rather sticky

And yet somehow profound

If you cut them in two

The halves will stay alive

They begin anew

And manage to survive

They burrow underground

And live with you forever

They’ll always be around

They’re really rather clever

Now I come to think of it

I think I’ve got confused

Two things I will admit

In my head have become fused

It’s words I’m thinking of

Not worms, that much is true

But the things I wrote above

Are still absolutely true
