029 - Plastic
If we got rid of all the plastic
I think this action would be too drastic
And I can’t be enthusiastic
About suggestions so sarcastic
What would happen to the unused oil?
Wouldn’t it just sit around and spoil?
Can we really use it all to boil?
Or should we stick it back in the soil?
Could we instead be stuck with wood?
I don’t think that would be good
No, it must be clearly understood
That I just don’t think we should
I suppose we could use heavy steel
Metal is a pretty solid deal
But it doesn’t have universal appeal
And iron LEGO would be surreal
We can’t use water to build
Even if it was distilled
Ice utensils would get us killed!
And our lives would not be fulfilled
This leaves us with just leather
And maybe the occasional feather
But the question here is really whether
This solution would work altogether?
So let’s use our collective brain
Plastic surely has to remain
If you’ll allow me to explain -
Do you want dinosaurs to have died in vain?
