I like Science Fiction

With quite some conviction

It makes great predictions

About the human condition

I love Doctor Who

The theme goes “Ooo-wee-ooo”

The hero travels through

Time - in a box so blue

And Star Wars is great

Except for episode eight

Which caused some debate

And quite a lot of hate

And then there’s Star Trek

With some really fab’ tech

There’s Kirk and his exec’

On the ship’s command deck

Of course we had Blake’s 7

Which was TV heaven

It dealt with oppression

With some sublime expression

There’s more I could mention

To maintain your attention

But we’d need an extension

Into another dimension

So off I depart

Through the stars I’ll chart

You can go back to the start
