016 - Writing

They are living blobs of utter hate

They love to shout “Exterminate!”

And I think that it’s their lack of oratory

That makes it so hard to write Dalek poetry

It doesn’t matter if you’re a charmer

You won’t get through their polycarbide armour

I just wouldn’t get too close

If you want to write good rhyming Dalek prose

If you annoy them then they will kill you

And turn you into a steaming pile of goo

It’s probably best to just stay away

I’d recommend instead penning a long distance essay

Don’t even consider any day trips

They’ll hunt you in their saucery spaceships

If you don’t want to become a ghost

Just send them a nice letter in the post

So to summarise, avoid them at all costs

Otherwise there’ll be a holocaust

It’s best to avoid any kind of crisis

Maybe instead just write a Dalek thesis
