179 - Bank Holidays

Bank Holidays are weird

It’s not just the banks that benefit

Everyone gets some time off

It’s pretty cool you must admit

Though as I sit here in my pants

And wonder what to do with my day

I find that nothing springs to mind

And I waste my life away

Eating crisps and crappy food

That’s what I end up doing

I don’t go for walks or watch sunsets

Netflix is my viewing

And then I wrote this poem, it’s pretty good

Although I know you’ll scoff

I have to wonder what others do

When it’s their time off
