140 - Tilt

There was a world that tilted

Slightly to one side

The planet, it was changed

Somewhat modified

Things slid off from shelves

Lots of things got smashed

People started screaming

As all their hopes were dashed

I know this makes no sense

But everything got skewed

No such thing as flat

Frankly, things were screwed

Statues falling over

Ships begin to sink

Imagine the insanity

Doesn’t it make you think?

Up was still surely up

Only slightly less so

More difficult to walk

The ground shifted below

But this was another world

So you don’t have to fear

Unless of course one day

It ends up happening here
