119 - The Truth

Typewriter, typewriter

Why do you lie?

Every time I use you

It fails to satisfy

I want to write my story

I want it to be strong

But then these words appear

And they’re just all wrong

I’m really not the person

These pages claim to be

This text is so inaccurate

Why can’t you people see?

I didn’t mean to write this

I want it to be better

But every time I press a key

It prints out the wrong letter

I wonder if you’re accessing

The recesses of my mind

If you are then let me ask

Can’t you just be kind?

And so the final page

It’s not a true diagram

I’m really someone else

This isn’t who I am
