011 - Strange
They’re a strange kind of lizard
That hatches from eggs
But the thing about snakes
Is they don’t have any legs
I’d really love to know why
If only they could talk
The precise reasons that
They decided not to walk
To squirm on the floor
Just seems kind of crazy
But on the other hand
Maybe they are just lazy?
It must be kinda chilly
For creatures with cold bloods
To lie on the dirt all day
And risk death from floods
And did I mention that
They aren’t very hairy?
It sort of makes them seem
That little bit more scary
So if I may summarise
My thoughts on this beast
Of all the creatures in nature
I like this one the least
